My Clients were a couple whose elderly Mother wanted constant care and did not want to put her into a Care Home. Their existing property was a three bed detatched house on a large corner plot. On the ground floor was an entrance hall, cloaks/toilet, kitchen and lounge/dining with a conservatory on the rear. There was a detached brick flat roofed double garage with ample parking. On the first floor were three bedrooms and the main bathroom. My Clients wanted to extend their home to provide self contained accommodation on the ground floor, with it's own ensuite, adjoining but separate to, their own accommodation. The scheme was to convert the existing double garage into a bed-sitting room and the gap between the garage and the main house into an ensuite for the annex and a Utility space for the main house. Access into the Annex is via the main house entrance hall. The annex also has it's own external entrance which allows Carers direct access (with coded lock) without disturbing themselves. My Clients, Mr & Mrs H and their Mother are all very pleased with the scheme and have written a testimonial.
